Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Parchi is built on a simple idea: your books are yours. Your bills, customers, products and stock live on your own device first, and most of the app never touches a server at all. This policy explains exactly what we collect, when, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Parchi (“Parchi”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a GST billing and inventory application, part of the Daily Hisaab family, operated by ASL Digital Solutions, a sole proprietorship based in India. This policy covers the Parchi web application at parchi.dailyhisaab.com and this website.

2. The short version

Your business data stays on your device by default. Invoices, customers, vendors, products and stock are stored in your browser's local storage on the computer you use Parchi on. They are uploaded to our servers only if you sign in and turn on cloud backup.

We don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising or third-party tracking in the app. We use Google Firebase to store your encrypted backup (only if you opt in) and Razorpay to process payments.

3. Information we collect

a. Information you give us

b. Information collected automatically

4. How we use your information

5. Payments and Razorpay

Payments for Parchi Plus are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you pay, your payment details are collected on Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS compliant platform and are handled under Razorpay's Privacy Policy. We do not store your card, UPI or bank credentials on our systems. We retain only the records we need to confirm your purchase, provide support, issue receipts and comply with tax law.

6. Where your data is stored

Your books live on your device. If you enable cloud backup, your encrypted backup and account record are stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Storage and Firestore). Payment records are held by Razorpay. These providers may process or store data on servers located outside India; where that happens, we rely on their contractual and technical safeguards to keep your data protected in line with this policy.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal or business data. We share information only with:

8. Data retention and deletion

Data on your device stays until you clear it or delete it in the app. If you have cloud backup, we keep your latest backup plus dated daily snapshots while your account is active. You can:

We may retain a minimal record of a transaction where required for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including HTTPS everywhere and scoped access rules so that your cloud backup is reachable only by your own signed-in account. No method of electronic storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but keeping your books on your device by default means the most sensitive data never has to leave it.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct, update or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent you have given. To exercise any of these, write to contact@asldigitalsolutions.in. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

11. Children

Parchi is a business tool intended for adults (18 and over) who run or work in a business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Cookies, local storage & website analytics

The Parchi app uses your browser's local storage to hold your books and preferences on your device — this is essential to how the app works and is not used to track you. We do not use advertising cookies or build advertising profiles. Our sign-in provider may set cookies strictly necessary to keep you securely logged in.

Our marketing website (parchi.dailyhisaab.com, including these policy pages) uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. This measures the website only — it is never connected to your Parchi account, your books, or anything you do inside the app. We ask before setting any analytics cookie: until you accept, Google receives an anonymous record that a page was viewed, with no cookie stored on your device; if you accept, a cookie lets us tell a repeat visit from a new one. IP addresses are anonymised and we do not allow this data to be used for advertising personalisation. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies, which makes the consent banner appear again.

13. Grievance Officer

In accordance with applicable Indian law, you may contact our Grievance Officer with any concern about this policy or how your data is handled:

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Parchi after an update means you accept the revised policy.
